Thanks for stopping by! My name is Bo Williams. I’m a husband, father, and writer in northern Alabama, where proximity to the military-industrial complex has been good to me. I enjoy spending time with my family and volunteer work. I am passionate about IndyCar racing and University of Alabama football.

I am the Vice Chair of the North Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force. I believe this is nearly unfathomable evil, and I cannot know about it without actively fighting the war.

I am a Soroptimist—a member of Soroptimist International of Huntsville. Soroptimists seek to economically empower women and girls, primarily through educational opportunities. I believe in this cause because I believe it is one of the most effective weapons we have against human trafficking and domestic violence. I also believe in this cause because I want to work actively toward a world free of gender discrimination.

I am an area leader for Free Mom Hugs. I am still somewhat in awe of this work’s effect on me. It is profound and deeply emotional for me.

If you want to find out more about any of my volunteer work, or talk to me about anything else, you can get me at Bo@IThinkThatWasBo.com.
