I think there’s little hope of getting Dr. Rice to return to Washington in any official capacity, but I’d love to hear what she has to say about what’s happening.

Great letter. I am an Independent and I really miss the old-school conservative Republicans. I certainly didn’t agree with them about everything (for example, way too hawkish for me) but they at least mostly held to the constitution and rule of law. I really never thought I would miss George W. Bush but here we are.
Thank you, Nancy. I’d love to hear from her. We’ll see. It was a challenge to keep it on one page.
And I know exactly what you mean. I had legitimate grievances with both W. and Obama, but guess what? At least they were both grown-ups. And I cringed plenty at the thought of a Hillary presidency, but my confidence that I would prefer her to Trump 47 is 100%.
