It begins tomorrow. I hereby commit to writing at least one actual snail mail letter per week.
I will brashly dare to hope that this practice isn’t necessary for the entire Trump presidency. However, I am prepared to do so. (Can’t believe I’m actually going to use up what I thought was a lifetime cache of forever stamps just one short month ago.)
The recipients will vary. The specific topics will vary. The constant will be Trump’s damage to our beloved country.
U.S. Representative Dale Strong is up first.

I will hand-deliver this letter to Dale Strong’s Huntsville office on Friday, March 7.

Dear Representative Strong,
I am disappointed to have not received a reply from you to my letter of February 7, in which I expressed considerable concern about Elon Musk’s access to sensitive government systems as well as the antagonistic and unprofessional way federal employees, including many of our friends and family, are being treated.
However, perhaps there is an opportunity here. I think many of your constituents would like to hear from you on these and several other events of the past six weeks. I also note that the lead story on your Dale in the District web page is almost two years old.
I believe a public town hall meeting would be well received. I know I’m not alone in wanting to hear how you plan to respond to this misconduct. I’m confident such a meeting would produce a stimulating exchange of ideas.
I hope to see an announcement soon. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely yours,
Bo Williams
